Professional TSU9800
Introduced at CEDIA in Sept 08, the new Pronto TSU-9800
features a 6.4 inch color touch screen with True VGA! The
TSU-9800 will offer 802.11g Wi-Fi, an RJ45 connection, bi-directional connectivity, compatible with SONOS, squeeze box,
Clipsal C-Bus and many other brands.
In
addition,
two-way
control will be possible via IP, RS-232, IR, Relay, built-in
diagnostics. This new tablet-sized beauty will include 64 Mb
SDRAM & 64 Mb of NAND Flash.
It is
likely this new model will also be the first product to showcase
Philips completely re-written designer, Pronto Professional Edit V2,
aka PEP2.
The
TSU-9800 resembles the current TSU-9600 but we are estimating about
4X the size. This new model puts Philips back into the
tablet-sized market, which Philip's "owned" at one time with the
iPronto tablet remote product.
